STANTON - A Stanton man has been sentenced to 90 days in jail in connection with animal abuse leading to the death of three dogs.

According to the Stanton County Sheriff's Office 22-year-old Richard Brachle was sentenced following his conviction on three counts of animal abuse.

Earlier this summer, the Sheriff’s Office investigated the deaths at Brachle's Stanton home.

Brachle received 30 days in jail for each count to be served consecutively in the county jail.
