The Nebraska soccer team (3-6-2, 2-2-0 Big Ten) hits the road this week to continue Big Ten play with match-ups against Iowa and No. 24 Michigan.

The Huskers and Hawkeyes (10-2-0, 2-2-0 Big Ten) square off Thursday at 7 p.m. (CT) at UI Soccer Complex in Iowa City, Iowa. NU's tilt against the Wolverines (8-2-1, 3-0-1 Big Ten) is slated for Sunday, starting at noon (CT), at U-M Soccer Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. Both matches will be streamed live on BTN+ (subscription required to watch). Fans can also track the action by following @NebraskaSoccer on Twitter.

Last Time Out
The Huskers split their home matches during the second weekend of Big Ten play. Nebraska fell to Northwestern, 1-0, on Thursday night before responding with a 1-0 win over Illinois, the then-No. 10 team in the RPI, on Sunday.

Next Up
The Huskers return home to host Maryland (Friday, Oct. 11 at 7:05 p.m.) and Rutgers (Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1:05 p.m.) at Hibner Stadium.

Kicking Off
• Nebraska is ranked 98th in the latest RPI, released by the NCAA on Monday. The Huskers have the 32nd toughest schedule in the nation, having already faced three teams in the top 15 of this week's RPI (No. 2 Clemson, No. 7 USC and No. 13 Kansas).

• Nebraska's devoted fan base has continued its strong attendance numbers at Hibner Stadium this season. In four home games this season, NU has welcomed 6,182 fans, an average of 1,030 per contest. This average ranks 22nd nationally and second in the Big Ten, behind only Penn State (1,538). NU has ranked in the top 25 nationally and in the top two of the Big Ten in average attendance during all four years at Hibner Stadium.

• Sinclaire Miramontez was named one of 30 women's soccer candidates for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award on Sept. 23. The award honors an NCAA Division I student-athlete that has notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. The 30 candidates will be narrowed to 10 finalists midway through the regular season, and those 10 names will be placed on the official ballot. The winner will be announced during the College Cup.

Scouting the Iowa Hawkeyes
• Iowa is 10-2 overall and holds a 2-2 record in conference play. The Hawkeyes opened the season by winning each of their first nine games before going 1-2 in their last three contests. During that span, Iowa fell to Purdue and Northwestern, but won against Illinois.

• Iowa is ranked 35th in this week's RPI. The Hawkeyes are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll, equivalent to the No. 29 ranking.

• Last season, Iowa went 8-7-3 overall and finished 10th in the Big Ten with a 4-5-2 mark in conference play.

• Nebraska leads the all-time series against Iowa, 10-1-1, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 2003. Last season, Iowa captured its first win in the series when the Hawkeyes escaped Lincoln with a 2-1 triumph.

• Head Coach Dave DiIanni is 56-45-7 in his sixth season at Iowa. He holds a career record of 277-63-25 in his 17th year overall. DiIanni is assisted by Blair Quinn, Katelyn Longino and Drago Ceranic.

Scouting the Michigan Wolverines
• Michigan is 8-2-1 this season and leads the Big Ten with a 3-0-1 mark in conference play. The Wolverines face Wisconsin on Thursday night before battling Nebraska on Sunday. Michigan is on a six-game unbeaten streak, winning five games during that span.

• Michigan is ranked 37th in this week's RPI. The Wolverines are ranked 24th in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll.

• Last season, Michigan went 9-9-1 overall and posted a 5-5-1 mark in Big Ten play to finish tied for seventh in the conference standings.

• Michigan leads the all-time series against Nebraska, 7-1-3, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 1994. Last season, the two teams tied in Lincoln.

• Head Coach Jennifer Klein is 17-11-2 in her second season at Michigan. She holds a career record of 36-30-6 in her fourth year overall. Klein is assisted by Tiffany Hansen, Katie Hultin and Holly Hein.
