Kearney wins fourth straight UNK Band Day

For the fourth straight year, Kearney High School is reigning supreme at an annual band competition.

KEARNEY - For the fourth straight year, Kearney High School is reigning supreme at an annual band competition.

Kearney High School took home the top prize at UNK Band Day held on Saturday. The Bearcats also took home the top drum line prize while Hastings High was awarded outstanding color guard.

Milford, Ravenna, and Bruning-Davenport also won in each of their respective classes.

This was the 61st annual UNK Band Day Parade. 23 schools participated.
