NEBRASKA CITY - Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce Executive Director, Amy Allgood, said everything scheduled for Sunday at the 51st annual apple harvest weekend was still on.

The city saw light to heavy rainfall early Sunday morning, but rain showers were expected to move out of the area by 10 a.m.

Vehicles for the classic car show were seen setting up around 8 a.m. Registration is open until noon.

Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say there's an 80% chance showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between the remainder of the day. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

A flash flood watch is in effect until 1 p.m. A flood warning continues for the Missouri River until further notice.

At 8:45 p.m. Saturday the river stage was 22.6 feet, or 4.6 feet above flood stage. It will continue to rise to near 22.6 feet by after midnight tomorrow, then begin falling.

Temperatures will cool off Sunday to around 70.
