Heavy rain brings flash flooding to northeast Nebraska
Some parts of NE Nebraska saw over 8" of rain.
CARROLL - Residents in northeast Nebraska are waking up to standing water after heavy rains overnight.
There were overnight estimates of over eight inches of rain in some portions of southeast Wayne County.
This footage comes from about three miles north of the Wayne County town of Carroll. About five inches of rain fell in that area in the past 24 hours.
The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for multiple northeast Nebraska counties until mid-morning Thursday.
