OVERTON - One person is injured after a motorcycle accident in Dawson County Monday night.

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were paged to the area of D Street and Highway 30 in Overton Monday around 9 PM.

The car collided with the motorcycle, causing heavy damage to both vehicles.

The driver of the motorcycle, 40-year-old Patrick Lange of Lexington, was transported to a hospital in Kearney by Overton Rescue with a possible broken back, head injuries and internal injuries.

The driver of the car was un-injured and was wearing a seat belt.

No citations have been issued and the accident was investigated by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.
