GRAND ISLAND - Two people are recovering from injuries after a car hit a bike in Grand Island.
It happened Monday afternoon on South Locust Street near the intersection with Woodland Drive.
Grand Island rescue officials say an SUV hit a man on a bike as he tried to cross the intersection.
The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with what were called serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was also injured.
There's been no word on any citations issued.
