UPDATE: Elkhorn River levels rise in Antelope County

The Elkhorn river in northeast Nebraska has started to hit flood stages as water continues to come down from the west.

NELIGH - The Elkhorn River in northeast Nebraska has started to hit flood stages as water continues to come down from the west.

This video was shot Friday morning. At that time, construction crews were pouring concrete along the bank of a bridge between Oakdale and Neligh.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for areas in Rock, Brown, Keya Paha, and Boyd Counties. The NWS also reports that multiple roads are impassible and rural areas are seeing water wash out multiple culverts and bridges.

The flood warning in these areas is set to last until Sunday Afternoon. Tune into News Channel Nebraska over the weekend for more updates and information on the flooding.
