Subject Arrested Near Gretna after Assaulting Trooper
The Nebraska State Patrol has arrested a Council Bluffs man following a incident at the Nebraska Crossing outlet mall near Gretna.

GRETNA - The Nebraska State Patrol has arrested a Council Bluffs man following a incident at the Nebraska Crossing outlet mall near Gretna.
Around 7 PM Wednesday, the NSP says officers were informed of a vehicle suspected of a hit and run crash in Omaha.
The trooper found the car in the mall parking lot and saw the driver sleeping in it. As the trooper was trying to wake up the man, he lunged at the officer and attacked him.
The trooper deployed a taser and arrested the man.
Authorities searched the vehicle and discovered a concealed firearm and multiple containers of marijuana.
44-year-old Jared Raymon of Council Bluffs was arrested for numerous violations including assault of an officer, hit and run and weapons and drug violations.
