Lincoln First Responder Gather to Honor 9/11 Victims
Nebraska law enforcement gathered outside the state capitol Wednesday to honor the first responders who lost their lives during the September 11th terrorist attacks.

LINCOLN - Nebraska law enforcement gathered outside the state capitol Wednesday to honor the first responders who lost their lives during the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Members of Lincoln Fire and Rescue, the Lincoln Police Department, Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, and Nebraska State Patrol were in attendance for the ceremony, which took place on the steps the Nebraska State Capitol.
The event included speeches and the raising of an American flag by fire engines.
The ceremony also included playing audio of radio dispatch calls from New York fire fighters, followed by a moment of silence.
