STANTON - The driver in a fatal crash in Stanton County will be sentenced in a couple months after entering his plea in court Tuesday.

According to a news release, 19-year-old Ried Krutz entered a no contest plea to a misdemeanor Motor Vehicle Homicide charge.

Authorities say Krutz was driving westbound on Highway 24 east of Norfolk on May 6th when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Jim Hoff of Norfolk. Hoff was pronounced dead at the scene.

Krutz will be sentenced on November 12th.
