Norfolk Police Department swears in two new officers

NORFOLK - The Norfolk Police Department just got a little bit bigger as the community gathered Friday for the swearing in of two new officers.

Officer Chris Hansen and Officer Collin Jurgensmeier were sworn in, honored, and congratulated at the event.

The ‘swearing in’ included a badge ceremony where the Oath of Office was administered by a Madison County Judge. Members of the Norfolk Police force also spoke about the honor of joining the team and what the job entails.
