SEWARD - Nebraska authorities have found a missing girl during a routine traffic stop.

The Seward County Sheriff's Office says that a Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit stopped a car that was associated with a missing and endangered girl out of San Diego, California at around 2 PM Thursday.

During the investigation, deputies were able to confirm that the 14-year-old girl was listed as missing out of San Diego.

Authorities say that the driver of the vehicle met the girl in California and was taking her to Ohio.

The driver, 26-year-old Devin Johnson of Lyndhurst, Ohio was arrested for Child Abuse and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child.

The Non-Profit Organization, I’ve Got a Name out of Lincoln was contacted to assist in the ongoing investigation.
