GRAND ISLAND - Doane University is celebrating new renovations to its Grand Island campus.
In the ribbon cutting held Friday, Doane officials announced the improvements and held an open house to show off the building.
Grand Island Campus Director Audrey Scott says the new space gives students a place where they can gather, work, or relax.
Scott says as the campus continues to grow, the buildings needed a change to fit the needs of the students.
Doane’s Grand Island campus, which first opened in 2003, is the only institution in Grand Island that offers both undergraduate and graduate programs.
