CONESTOGA - Allie Bokamper went 2-4, scored two runs and drove-in three runs, and the Syracuse softball team defeated Conestoga, 13-3, on Thursday. 

The Rockets used an eight run inning in the third to help secure their fifth win of the season. Sydney Wellsandt, Taylor Sherwin, Grace Damme and Kaela McMullen each had RBI singles in the inning. Brook Carlson added an RBI triple and Bokamper smacked an RBI double.

Bokamper's single in the first scored two runs and Syracuse jumped out to a 3-0 lead.

The Rockets finished with 10 hits.

Suzy Shanks was the winning pitcher for Syracuse. She gave up three runs on five hits over five innings and struck out one.

Ali Gansmer was tallied for the loss. The Cougar pitcher surrendered 10 runs on six hits over two and two-thirds inning.

Both Syracuse (5-3) and Conestoga (0-8) play in the Auburn Invitational this weekend.
