OMAHA - A person was killed Thursday in an industrial accident at a recycling center near 108th and I streets in Omaha.

Our news partners WOWT 6 News report that around 8 AM Thursday multiple units of the Omaha Fire Department responded to Firstar Fiber Corporation, where they extricated the victim.

Omaha Fire paramedics then pronounced the person dead.

Omaha Police and OSHA are investigating the incident.
