GRAND ISLAND - The 150th Nebraska State Fair is in the books.

The celebration in Grand Island wrapped up on Monday.

The fair started off literally underwater as heavy rains flooded the fairgrounds and kept attendees from being able to park on the Fonner Park Grounds.

Organizers say despite the challenges, this year's fair featured many notable achievements.

Organizers say the fair featured record participation in the truck and tractor pull and the Nebraska Strong Ranch Rodeo. There were also about 10,000 4-H entries representing all 93 counties.

This was the 10th year of the fair in Grand Island.
