Bobcat cheer squad to hold youth camp in September
The Peru State Bobcat cheerleading squad will host a Youth Cheer Camp on Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 9 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. in the Student Center.
(Peru, Neb.) – The Peru State Bobcat cheerleading squad will host a Youth Cheer Camp on Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 9 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. in the Student Center.
A performance by all of the participants will be held at approximately 12:40 prior to the Bobcats' football game that afternoon with Benedictine (Kan.). The football game begins at 1 p.m. and will be held in the historic Oak Bowl.
The camp will be for all youth four years and older. Snacks will be provided. Parents and/or guardians will receive two free admission tickets to the game, as will the participants.
The cost of the camp is $25 per person or $40 for two siblings. The fee includes a t-shirt, snacks, and instruction from the Bobcat cheer team.

For the first time ever, the Peru State cheerleading team will be competitive at the NAIA national level. They will begin competition in January.
