PLATTSMOUTH - An eastern Nebraska man has been charged with manslaughter in the traffic crash death of a Murray woman a month Ago.

The Omaha World-Herald reports that that 35-year-old Jade Gunn, also of Murray, is being held on $100,000 bond after he was charged with manslaughter for the June 30th crash just southwest of Plattsmouth that saw 58-year-old Tammy Martin die from her injuries weeks later.

Investigators say Gunn ran a stop sign and crashed into Martin’s car. Police say he left the scene of the crash, even after a witness tried to stop him.

Our news partners KETV Report that Gunn turned himself in to deputies Sunday night, and could face up to 24 years in prison.
