CEDAR BLUFFS - A Dodge County home is damaged and their neighbor's home destroyed after a weekend fire.

Cedar Bluffs fire officials say the blaze started in a shed and grew to engulf a nearby home in the Woodcliff Lakes community.

The fire also engulfed a 500 gallon propane tank on the property, prompting an evacuation of over 20 people from nearby homes due to the risk of explosion. Two live power lines went down across a road, necessitating the removal of multiple vehicles.

The home where the fire started sustained smoke, heat and fire damage to the house while the shed was completely destroyed. The neighboring home though, was completely destroyed.
