10th annual Rhythm and Ribs brings crowds to Albion

Residents from in and around Albion got to spend a day in the sun while chowing down on some barbecue Saturday. The tenth annual Rhythm and Ribs took place in downtown Albion.

19 grillers showed off their skills at the event, preparing ribs for the public to try. There was also a cornhole tournament and beer garden

As the day rolled on, there was live music, a bounce house, dunk tank and escape room.

A panel of judges, which included News Channel Nebraska's Chris Williams and Clint from US92, determined who cooked up the best ribs at the event. The contest had a total cash prize of $2,200.

The day concludes with a rib dinner and cream can supper which starts at 6 p.m.
