Kearney Suspicious person ID's Himself

KEARNEY - We have an update to a story we brought you last night.

The suspicious person seen on Monday morning driving near Harmon Park in Kearney has identified themselves to authorities.

Kearney Police say the person walked into the Law Enforcement Center lobby on Tuesday evening and identified himself to police.

Police interviewed the man, and he said he only spoke to the girl because she looked like she needed help.

Police say the man never intended to entice or abduct the girl.
