UNL professor dies in Minnesota crash
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln community is in mourning after the death of a research professor.

LINCOLN - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln community is in mourning after the death of a research professor.
UNL announced Tuesday that 53-year-old David Swanson died Sunday morning in a car crash near Danube in western Minnesota.
A UNL obituary says he had worked at the school since 1999, serving since 2005 as the Director of the Holland Computing Center.
The Renville County Minnesota Sheriff’s Office says an SUV failed to stop at a stop sign and struck Swanson's car. Swanson's wife and three of his kids were also in the car and suffered injuries. They are all expected to survive.
The driver of the SUV also died in the crash.
