Center for Rural Affairs to host town hall on legislation affecting ag producers in Laurel

LAUREL, NE - The Center for Rural Affairs has announced they will host a community conversation in Laurel that will discuss legislative bills that could impact rural communities.

LAUREL, NE - The Center for Rural Affairs (CFRA) has announced they will host a community conversation in Laurel that will discuss legislative bills that could impact rural communities.

State Senator Tim Gragert, of Creighton will be in attendance. He will share an overview from the 2019 legislative session. 

“Senators rely on their constituents to be engaged with them on these issues, so be sure to bring your questions and comments," CFRA Policy Manager Jordan Rasmussen said in a news release.

The event will take place on August 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the CedarView Country Club in Laurel. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
