Authorities Arrest Two, Following Search of Wymore Residence
Three people detained, two arrested in search of Wymore house
BEATRICE – Officers from four agencies combined efforts in serving a search warrant on a Wymore home, finding drug evidence and making arrests.
The warrant was served at around 7:25 a.m. Friday, at a home in the three hundred block of North 12th, in Wymore. Gage County Sheriff’s Officers were assisted by Wymore Police, Beatrice Police and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Three people in the home were detained while authorities conducted the search. Law officers say they found a methamphetamine pipe on one person, an unused meth pipe, a baggie containing a half-gram of methamphetamine and three bags with suspected meth residue.
Authorities arrested 40-year-old Justin Thomsen and 44-year-old Maranda Caporale…both on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Law officers cited and released 44-year-old April Thomsen for alleged possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug house. Officers found 1.4 grams of marijuana, several empty containers with marijuana residue and a marijuana pipe. Authorities say April Thomsen was found with $621 in her possession.
