Wood River Continues Flood Preparations
The community of Wood River is continuing to prepare for the upcoming floodwaters expected to arrive later today and tomorrow.

WOOD RIVER - The community of Wood River is continuing to prepare for the upcoming floodwaters expected to arrive later today and tomorrow.
Officials have constructed a make-shift dam to control the water flow along main roadways to stop the water from flowing into the north part of town.
The National Weather Service is predicting the water to crest in the area Thursday afternoon at a level of around 16.6 feet. Late last night, city officials issued a voluntary evacuation for residents of Wood River that were effected by the March flooding.
