Remember Our Fallen Memorial makes stop in Columbus

A country-crossing memorial honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice is making a stop Columbus. From now through July 10th, people can go to the Columbus Armed Forces Reserve Center to view the Remember Our Fallen memorial.
The display honors servicemen and women who have died since the beginning of the war on terror. According to volunteers, about 5,100 fallen soldiers are pictured, including 86 Nebraskans.
The memorial is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. everyday except for Wednesday July, 10th. That day it is only open until noon so the memorial can be packed up and moved to its next location. Sunday, July 7, there will be a ceremony that is open to the public at 3:00 p.m.
After the memorial leaves Columbus, the memorial will not return to Nebraska until October.
