CED hosting manufacturing trade show in Omaha

OMAHA -- A major manufacturing trade show is coming to Omaha.

Consolidated Electrical Distributors is hosting the Manufacturing Matters event on July 18 in Omaha to showcase manufacturing in the midwest.  The event will feature a trade show with more than 30 vendors, specialized breakout sessions, a keynote address by Craig Nelson and a networking event.  Manufacturing Matters is aimed at local plant leadership, operations, and engineering as well as local OEM partners, and system integrators.

A news release from CED says $13 billion worth of products are manufactured in Nebraska every year.  The release says one in 10 Nebraskans work in manufacturing.  

Manufacturing Matters is on July 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harper Center on Creighton University's campus.
