Nebraska City wins league tournament game over Crete
Nebraska City (12-3) will play two games in two different conferences today (Wednesday).

WAVERLY - Clay Stovall drove in one of Nebraska City's three runs in the first inning Tuesday and the Post 8 Seniors never looked back in a 10-2 win over Crete in the Northern Baseball League Tournament in Waverly.
Stovall finished 3-3 at the plate with three RBI's and a run scored.
Nebraska City scored five more runs in the fifth inning on RBI's from Stovall, Jacob Shannon and Max Chaney.
Shannon earned the victory on the mound. He gave up two runs on three hits and struck out 10 over 5 2/3 innings.
Post 8 racked up 10 total hits in the game. Stovall, Eli Southard and Tyler Levy each had multiple hits, all singles.
Nebraska City (12-3) will play two games in two different conferences today (Wednesday). At 3 p.m., they'll play Waverly in the NBL Tournament at Waverly and play either Syracuse or Falls City at 6 p.m. in the Southeast Nebraska Conference Tournament in Syracuse.
