WILBER - Day two of the trial of Aubrey Trail included stories of strangulation, sexual fantasies and letters written in code as both sides presented their opening statements in Saline County Court Tuesday. NCN's Tommy Rezac and David Solheim were in the courthouse.
Trail is charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and improper disposal of skeletal remains in the 2017 disappearance and murder of Sydney Loofe.
He pleaded guilty to the charge of improper disposal. Trail has pleaded not guilty to the other charges.
