Rain In Forecast Prompts Flood Watch

OMAHA - A flood watch is effect through Wednesday morning for Cass, Otoe, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee and Richardson counties in Nebraska and Fremont County in Iowa.

Cities impacted include Hamburg, Plattsmouth, Nebraska City, Tecumseh, auburn and Falls City.

Periods of heavy rain are expected with totals up to three inches.

Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of urban and low-lying areas, creeks and rivers.

 A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts.
