BEATRICE - A motorcyclist was taken to a Lincoln Hospital after his bike and a car collided in east Beatrice, last night.
Beatrice Police say 42-year-old Dennis Lyons was taken to Bryan Health West, in Lincoln, following the 6:25 p.m. accident at 12th and Court. Sergeant Doug Coon says the driver of the car involved was cited for failure to yield.

The motorcycle struck the front passenger door of the car crossing the intersection.

The 20-year-old driver of the car and a passenger had minor injuries…cuts from broken glass in the collision. The condition of the motorcyclist was not immediately known.
Sergeant Coon said the scene was cleared at around 7:10 p.m.
