NORFOLK - Work is continuing on a fallen power line structure that fell into the Elkhorn River near Norfolk last week.

Officials say soil erosion around the river caused the structure fall into the south side of the river.

NPPD spokesman Mark Becker says electricity was cut off from the lines last Wednesday and work is beginning to dismantle the structure, which he says will take weeks or months.

NPPD says no customers will be be impacted by the project.
