LINCOLN - Sometimes winning in basketball is just as simple as making shots.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family shot 19-of-21 (90.5%) from the free-throw line, 6-for-10 (60%) from three and 18-for-39 (46.2%) overall as they beat Archbishop Bergan Saturday 61-46 for their first state championship as a co-op.
The Bulldogs' strong shooting allowed them to come back from an early 7-point deficit halfway through the first quarter.
HLHF's depth was on full display as well, with 17 points off the bench, including 15 from freshman Jacob Sjuts.
