Power outage leaves hundreds in the dark in Neligh
City Superintendent Dan Donaldson told NCN over the phone the power outage started shortly after noon due to a subfeeder going down from high wind gusts.

NELIGH, Neb. - Wednesday’s high winds left a quarter of the City of Neligh without power.
City Superintendent Dan Donaldson told NCN over the phone the power outage started shortly after noon due to a subfeeder going down from high wind gusts.
The National Weather Service issued a high wind advisory for the area surrounding Neligh. Forecasters reported wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour.
With around 400 people without power, Donaldson says crews are currently working to get power restored, but are battling against the wind.
