Elkhorn Valley storms by Lutheran High Northeast
It was all Falcons on Saturday afternoon as Elkhorn Valley came away with a 49-point win
By News Channel NebraskaNORFOLK - The Elkhorn Valley Falcons weren't messing around on Saturday afternoon, dominating the Lutheran High Northeast Eagles 63-14.
The Falcon's full-court press forced the Eagles into multiple turnovers that ended in points for Elkhorn Valley. Lutheran High Northeast wasn't able to get much going offensively.
In the third quarter, Elkhorn Valley reached a 40-point lead which enacted a running clock, allowing them to run away with the 63-14 win.
Cameron Rutjens led the Falcons with 12 points, followed by Kyndal Werner scoring 10, while Kayton Werner and Ashlynn Dexter-Paustian scored 9 each.
Taelyn Wasson scored a team-high 7 points for the Eagles.
