Columbus scores 18 unanswered to defeat Lincoln East in OT

LINCOLN, Neb. — Columbus High spoiled Lincoln East's homecoming by staying calm in the midst of adversity.

The Discoverers scored 11 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to force overtime before finding the end zone in the extra period and holding the Spartans scoreless to defeat Lincoln East 28-21 on Thursday night.

Michael Voichoskie rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns including the 10-yard go-ahead score on the Discoverers' first play in overtime.
