Beatrice Police respond to morning injury accident
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Beatrice Tuesday morning.
BEATRICE, Neb. - One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Beatrice Tuesday morning.
At 7:36 a.m. Tuesday, the Beatrice Police Department responded to a call regarding a crash at 16th and Market Streets. The driver of a Toyota Camry, a 39-year-old female, collided with a 30-year-old female driving a GMC Acadia.
According to BPD, the driver of the Toyota claimed to have stopped at a stop sign and didn't see the driver of the SUV before they collided in the intersection.
BPD says driver of the GMC was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital for treatment of neck pain.
Police don't believe alcohol was a factor.
