Classic One Insurance sold to Plummer Insurance

SCOTTSBLUFF – Plummer Insurance, Inc., announced March 20 the acquisition of Classic One Insurance from Riverstone Bank. The acquisition took effect March 15.

SCOTTSBLUFF – Plummer Insurance, Inc., announced March 20 the acquisition of Classic One Insurance from Riverstone Bank.

The acquisition was effective March 15. Andrew Plummer, president of Plummer Insurance, said the acquisition is an opportunity to improve the business.

"We're excited to announce the acquisition of Classic One Insurance in Scottsbluff from Riverstone Bank.
Classic One Insurance will remain at its current Scottsbluff location for the immediate future, but will eventually move to Plummer Insurance’s new Gering location at 1436 10th St. We are especially excited for the opportunity to improve efficiencies and expand expertise in our agency by adding the current Classic One staff members and we look forward to meeting policyholders as we make this transition,” said Plummer.
 
Riverstone Bank CEO Mike Downey said the Classic One Insurance customers were important in deciding to sell the business.
 

 “One of the most important factors when we considered selling Classic One Insurance, was how well our customers would be taken care of.  We are very pleased that we were able to sell to a local agency like Plummer Insurance, with an excellent reputation for customer service and a variety of insurance products.  Another important consideration was the retention of our excellent employees. By maintaining their employment, they will be available to help make the transition for our loyal customers as seamless as possible.  We felt like the decision was a win, win, win for everyone involved,” said Mike Downey, CEO of Riverstone Bank.

Plummer Insurance was established in 1984 by Steve and Helen Plummer. The agency currently has nine locations in Western Nebraska and Eastern Colorado and offers multiple insurance products, including home, auto, farm, life, health, crop, bonds, business/commercial, truck, and specialty insurance, by several highly-rated insurance companies.
