TILDEN - Battle Creek is off to its best start in at least 20 years, and the hot streak kept going Friday.

The Bravettes never trailed, holding off Elkhorn Valley to win the Falcons' holiday tournament championship 47-37.

Battle Creek overcame being outrebounded 30-17 to continue the unbeaten beginning of their season.

The Bravettes' outside shooting carried the day, using great ball movement to shoot 5/11 from three in the first half. Battle Creek's defense also forced 20 turnovers, helping them to their most impressive win over their 9-0 start.
