TMCO wins Cornhusker State Games Basketball Championship in thriller

LINCOLN - Team TMCO brought home the gold thanks to a three in the game's final seconds.

TMCO (Captown Elite) defended its Cornhusker State Games title by defeating Team Bison Inc. 60-58.

Team Bison took a one-point lead with 10 seconds to play thanks to a three-point play by Brandon Krause, but Lyle Hexom answered for Team TMCO by banking in a three with 3 seconds to play. Team Bison had a chance to tie at the buzzer but the put back rimmed out.
