NORFOLK, Neb. -- Don't be surprised on Saturday night if you see a group of people boogying on downtown in Norfolk.

The Norfolk Arts Center, in partnership with the Elkhorn Valley Museum, is holding Norfolk's first-ever silent disco.

Participants will each receive a pair of headphones tuned to the same music as the other participants.

The group will travel through downtown Norfolk, Verges Cave, and will make a stop at the arts center.

Refreshments will also be provided along the way as well as specialty drinks from different bars in Norfolk.

Elley Coffin, the program coordinator for the Norfolk Arts Center, said the event will be great for people who want to have fun and see Norfolk in a new way.

"It's a great event because not only does it give people the opportunity to travel through your town and see it in new ways and new lights, but it's also going to be fun and it's meant for enjoyment. This is an event we really want people to celebrate and have fun together," said Coffin.

The event is for people ages 18 and up and costs $25 per person.

The event begins at 8:30 Saturday night.

You can visit the Norfolk Arts Center website to sign up.
