LINCOLN - The defending champs in Class B made championship-type plays late to advance to the semifinals.
Six-seed Beatrice scored five points in the final minute, completing an impressive comeback in their 38-35 win over three-seed Scottsbluff on Monday.
The Orangemen trailed by as much as 11 in the third quarter after a 12-0 run by the Bearcats to open the second half, but a corner three by Shelton Crawford followed by a lay-in off a steal by Luke Feist sealed it for Beatrice.
The defending champs will face two-seed Roncalli Catholic in the semifinals on Wednesday.
