The Eagles and Huskies stumbled out of the blocks to a 7-7 tie at the end of 1st quarter. SRC took a 4-point lead early in the 2nd, and that's when junior Mia Wiederin took over, pouring in 13 points by halftime and staking LHNE to an 11-point advantage at the break.
Lutheran High never looked back, using pressure defense and stellar outside shooting to pull away and win by 26. Wiederin (15 pts), Kealy Ranslem (14) and Mia Furst (10) led the way for the Lady Eagles (10-12), who will face top seed and host Elkhorn Valley Tuesday night.
