NORFOLK - For two and a half quarters, the Norfolk Panthers hung with the #5 team in the state, but the Thunderbolts established themselves offensively late, outscoring the Panthers 18-7 in the 4th quarter of a 57-37 win Saturday.

Pius' three-point shooting saved them in the first half,  with Lily Hodge and Brynn Sebek combining to go 7-for-7 from beyond the arc.

When the Thunderbolts cooled off from deep in the second half, they stepped in inside, shooting 7-for-10 on two-point shots after the break.

The win was Pius' sixth straight against the Panthers dating back to 2019.
