Lutheran High Northeast beats rival Norfolk Catholic to end losing streak

The Eagles erased an eight-point first-half deficit to beat the Knights 60-51

NORFOLK - Lutheran High Northeast used a 20-5 run over the first and second quarters to take control of rival Norfolk Catholic, beating the Knights at home on Friday 60-51.

The Eagles won for the first time in two weeks, ending a four-game losing streak in the process, while the loss was Norfolk Catholic's fourth in a row.

It was also the first time Lutheran High has beaten their cross-town rival in over a decade. The Knights had beaten the Eagles on ten straight occasions dating back to December of 2011.
