Lincoln Northeast downs Pius to win HAC Tournament Title

LINCOLN - Lincoln Northeast proved that its for real on Thursday evening.

The Rockets dethroned three time-defending Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament champs Pius, downing the Thunderbolts 51-48.

G. Gatnoor led LNE with 19 points off the bench, accounting for seven of the Rockets nine points in the fourth quarter.

Jack Hastreiter led Pius with 13 while his brother Sam added 10.
