Doane's Mak Hatcliff named GPAC Player of the Week

Beatrice graduate Hatcliff earns Player of the Week honors.

CRETE - Freshman Mak Hatcliff is receiving conference recognition. 

The freshman from Beatrice, NE. was named the GPAC Player of the Week, after her performance in Doane's only game last week, a win over St. Mary's. She's the first Tiger to receive the weekly honor since 2018. 

In the 93-88 Doane victory, Hatcliff dropped a career-high 32 points to go along with eight rebounds, five steals, and three assists. En route to those 32 points, Hatcliff made 12 field goals, including two 3-point baskets, and six free throws. 

Hatcliff currently leads the GPAC with 20.7 points per game, which is 14th nationally. She's also second in the conference with 2.8 steals per game and fifth in rebounds with 7.7 per game.
