Wayne State closes out regular season with sweep of UMD
The Wildcats took down Duluth 26-24, 25-17, 25-17

WAYNE - #15 Wayne State's offense found a rhythm early, ending their regular season with a 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-17, 25-17) of Minnesota-Duluth.
The Wildcats led throughout the first and second sets. The score was tied four times in the first set and three times in the second, but the Bulldogs weren't able to take a lead of any kind until early in the third set.
WSC outhit Duluth .315 to .210 as the Wildcats beat the Bulldogs for the second time in the regular season - the first time they've done so since UMD rejoined the Northern Sun Conference in 2008.
The Wildcats finish the regular season 21-7. They'll be the four-seed in the upcoming NSIC Tournament.
UMD finishes their season 18-11, just the second time they'll miss out on the NCAA tournament in the last 20 years.
