Police investigate a shooting that leaves two hospitalized

OMAHA, Neb. -- Two people are in the hospital after a shooting over the weekend. 

Omaha Police say the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. 

Omaha Police responded to a shooting that sent two male victims to the hospital early Sunday morning. Officers found two adult male victims with gunshot wounds near 50th and Castelar streets. 

Police say both victims, a 31-year-old and a 28-year-old, were taken to a local hospital. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
